Leeds Bar Scene for Hop & Barley

I’m in the process of shooting a project for Leeds Beer Week and during this I’ve been revisiting a number of locations I’ve previously documented. So thought it was a good time to look back at a commission that I shot for Hop & Barley magazine for Vol 4.

For each volume the Hop & Barley team investigate the beer scene in a different town or city. For this issue the focus was Leeds. With the idea of looking at a selection of the locations in Leeds and to document the journey through the different bars we visited on the day.  Here’s a selection of the images, to read the full story grab a copy from Hop & Barley here. Included in the journey was Friends of Ham, Northern Monk Refectory, Tall Boys, North Bar, Tapped and finally Bundobust.
